My Date With Drew
1 of 1 found this helpful This film is one man's account of how he set himself a deadline of 30 days to get a date with the Hollywood actress Drew Barrymore.
Background: This guy won U$1000 on a gameshow, which finished with a question on Drew, who he has fancied since he was seven. After winning, he then decided that this was his destiny. He decided to spend the money on videoing himself and his friends/associates whilst trying to complete his quest on getting a date with her over the next month. It's karma huh?
OK, this is the honesty part. I've also fancied Drew Barrymore from a very young age so this film appealed to me for obvious reasons.
I won't spoil it for you by saying whether he was succesful or not but I will tell you that she makes an appearance in the film!
This film is 3 years old. It cost me £5 on ebay including postage which is about right i think as i don't think it would bear repeated viewings. Having said that, I enjoyed it a lot and will give it 4 stars.
