Easy controls and excellent sounds with good VHF and DAB
Small, light-weight with internal re-chargable battery.
Quickly tunes into stations (VHF and DAB). Has 10 memories for both VHF and DAB selection.
When saving channels in memory, to be assured of successfully storing your chosen station in the memory of your choice: press and hold-down the ENTER button and then press then RIGHT button. Nothing will happen. Then release the buttons and use the RIGHT button to move to the chosen memory slot then press ENTER to store the channel
Volume is more than sufficient for the earphones. Deep base works and so does the delicate highlights of classical orchestral music (Radio 3). Speech on Radio 4 is good.
Score ? 10 out of 10.

Best option for me.
Difficulties getting a wifi signal from the router in another part of the house.
Brought a second router to make a wifi bridge but signal strength and reliability bad.
Brought a 10m cat 7 cable to link router with computer. That worked very well but the women complain about the untidiness.
Brought this item - price about £120 cheaper than the second router - plugged it in and it just worked. No configuration needed. 2 RJ45 cables included.
There is a 1 or 2 second delay in responding, compared to the direct cable link, but I can easily live with that. The data transfer seems fast.
It works well. Just plain brilliant. I can only recommend it as an excellent choice.

First glance at Hama's Star 64 tripod
(1) Comes in a shoulder bag. The 2.3cm wide strip is uncomfortable; 3 or 5 cm would be better. Single shoulder use is satisfactory but when fully extended, the shoulder strap is not longer enough to go comfortably over the back of a person. This means sourcing a replacement bag, 70 cm long, elsewhere as the integral strap can not be exchanged.
(2) Tripod is relatively light-weight. The first thing one notices is it is well-made and all parts have a smooth-finish. It has a comfortable, ideally placed, carrying handle.
(3) When erected, and without extending the centre column, the basic height to the quick-release plate is 153.5 cm
(4) A circular spirit level at the top of the tripod's legs and a rectangular one on the tripod's head.
(5) There is a locking-collar where the supports from the three legs meet the bottom of partial column descending from the tripod's head.
(6) There is another locking column at the base of the crank-operated centre raising column.
(7) Very happy with it so far. Would I buy another of the same type ? Yes, definitely if I needed it.
