Some Velvet Sidewalk
This is the seminal first album from this classic band. Even with their revolving lineup over the years, “Appetite For Extinction” is a great introduction to SVS. Mainly due to the distinctive voice, and song writing of front man Al Larsen. This is a two man version of the band featuring Robert Christie as the 2nd main man. One song features Billy Karren pre Kill. One features Mike Johnson pre stint in Dinosaur Jr.
-All four of these folks were previously in the Eugene, Oregon punk band “Snakepit”. Buy this!
Oh yeah! Cassettes rule!

Thee Amazing OSEES
The Beatles evolved; and kept their “fan base”. So do Thee ever unexpected OSEES! On this LP they might shock SOME of their longtime listeners, yet EXCITE the fans that lean towards classic punk. This album is PURPOSELY an homage to ‘80s punk and hardcore (in it’s original meaning.) The final song is even a cover of a Rudimentary Peni tune. At 22 minutes it hits HARD without injuring newcomers to this genre. I dig it!
