Smarter Sockets
We had two double electric sockets cut into the brickwork of a new conservatory and the finish looked awful with gaps between the sockets themselves and the surrounding brickwork. Fitting the finger plates has made for a far better finish. It was not necessary to disconnect any of the wiring to the sockets to fit the plates, despite it proving impossible to pass the sockets through the centres of the plates. A neat cut through each plastic plate - on one of the long sides - enabled the plate to be slotted over the "in situ" socket. - with the cut section being placed below the socket itself.

It does what it says it should!
Easy to fit. Time will tell if it successfully prevents the tap from freezing.
