Fit, feels, and looks like the original part
Exact OEM fit for my 2002 Silverado. It was easy to install and did not require any modifications. I purchased this for a little more than the 3rd party part, due to reviews commenting on the shape. This lever matched my original lever shape exactly. The graphic on the lever showing the switch use for towing was different and most likely is a more recent version. Neither better or worse, just different.

Easy direct replacement part. No modification!
This is an exact replacement part. No modification is required. I just unplugged the old one (it broke in half as soon as touched it), and plugged in the new. Easy.

Just what my new XE Prestige needed
After being quoted $300 for this kit at the local Jag dealer, I was please to find this for less than 1/3 of that. The kit is not designed to fit on the XE, but the local trusted body shop was able to resolve that for about $100! I know that many think the leaper does not go well with this era of Jaguar, but I like it. Now no one mistakes this for anything but a Jaguar!
Two holes are required on the hood support. First one is to attache the leaper nut and the second is to insert the rectangular plastic backing to prevent the aluminum hood from being damaged. The other two pieces in the kit are not used.
