Standard belt guard
Its just a bog standard belt guard. However, you do need to be careful when removing the existing fasteners, after a while the screws get corroded and slots fill up so its necessary to clean the slots to get a cross point screw driver to fit.

How we blunted the Kriegsmarine's deadliest weapon.
All historians and any person interested in the Second World War kmows that the Battle of The Atlantic had to be endured and won. Without the ships Britain would not have had the food weapons and ,more importantly, the fuel to carry the fight to Germany. Their submarines could cut that lifeline, and very nearly did.
This book takes a behind the scenes look at the attempts Bletchley Park made to break the German Navy's Submarine codes. They had broken the Luftwaffe and army traffic because their operators were negligent in using Enigma, but the Navy was a lot more disciplined and mid war bought in a new Enigma with an extra rota, the efforts to break into this new machine are described here.
Some of the text went over my head. Not only are the stories told of how Bletchley Park came to obtain code books, but the theory behind the breaking of the codes is also described. These parts of the book need a brain more intelligent than mine to understand.
Breaking The enigma is an excellent book in not only describing the attempts to break the U-Boat codes, but also an excellent book in describing the technicalities behind the breaking of those codes.
Its a good book for anyone interested in the wider aspects of the war and how the allies got some of the information it used in defeating the Nazi menace.
