Severin milk frother
We use this Severin SM9688 milk frother with our DeLonghi coffee maker and also to make hot chocolate drinks. We've been using the machine for about one month, and I don't have any negative comments to make about it. For coffee we use semi-skimmed milk or milk/water (ratio of around 3:1) and heat/froth at 65C. When it's up to temperature, the machine gives a double "beep" to tell you it's finished. For hot chocolate we set the control to 45C, heat the milk, add chocolate powder, reset to 65C, re-start and wait until it's finished. You can also froth without heating the milk. There are two "stirrers", one for frothing, the other for simply heating - used for hot chocolate.
Our routine is to pour the milk into pre-heated mugs, add the coffee, and top off with some froth.
The metal "jug", its clear lid and stirrer are easy to wash, and the base of the machine simply needs a wipe round occasionally.

This Google Nexus 7 has lived up to my expectations.
I bought this Google Nexus 7 a couple of months ago having formed a good impression of the brand from a Nexus 10 I bought earlier this year.
The Nexus 7 is more "pocket sized" - albeit a fairly large pocket - than its larger brother. I chose the 32Gb model because this tablet doesn't have removable memory, and 4G LTE to allow me to go online when on holiday, and away from a WiFi hotspot.
I think the tablet's screen resolution and speed are excellent. Battery life on WiFi is around 8 - 10 hours, and charging time is no problem.
It seems to me that the trend is to make these devices as thin as possible, and this makes the Nexus 7 a little difficult for my clumsy fingers to hold. This minor issue was solved by the purchase of a case.
The Nexus 10 is now used mainly by my wife, who was previously totally uninterested in computers.
I think that this Nexus 7 has proved to be the right choice for me although, to be fair, I don't have experience of any other brands of tablet.

Looks good.
It appears to be well made. Feels quite solid and chrome plating looks good. Screws are included. Good value.
