Replacement wick and an excellent upgrade too.

Yes, I recently found the need to dust off the cobwebs to my very old Valor paraffin heater and found it needed a new wick. With a new wick and can of paraffin I’m now able to keep my small outbuilding/workshop warm without the need to use an expensive electric heater.My original wick had a ladder metal pattern on one side were as the upgrade had a full metal tube, making the winding up and down smoother. if I could have one criticism, it could have been made out of cotton lower, fibreglass upper as so many are these days for a longer life.

Purchased knowing it wasn’t correct s/n and fitment. If you have a pre - 11S49 don’t be disheartened.

I was finding it difficult to buy a replacement bread pan for my Kenwood bread maker BM450 s/n 09J30 which is around 5years old. The bad news is this one doesn’t fit, sorry. The good news is, it can. You will need a vernier and a couple of small fine diamond files to re-profile the x4 cast lugs and the verniers to make sure you don’t remove too much material. Please remember, if you buy one and mess up in attempting this modification, it’s at your own risk, but the benefit is, it saved my otherwise reliable bread maker from the dustbin.
