Light weight, works like a gentle chemical exfoliant
This mosturiser is light weight, and because of the retinol (albeit only a small quantity), i feel that’s why it somehow helps to keep the skin looking slightly fresher than usual. I was using sulwhasoo concentrated ginseng renewing cream previously as moisturizer, somehow I find that it sort of makes my skin looking dull as the days go by, and I was starting to develop hormonal acne occasionally around my chin.
Hence I started searching for a skincare product with retinol that doesn’t irritate+getting rid of skincare products that promotes any form of acne.
In the end, I bought this based on a recommendation of a Japanese beauty youtuber, she has great skin and she swears by simple+light weight skincare product.
However, if you do have severe acne/fine lines/other slightly more severe skin related condition, this might not have any effect on you because the content of retinol is very low.
I use this in combination with 1.) foreo Luna (facial cleansing device) 2.) eau precieuse clearskin lotion purifante (toner with bha) 3.) eaoron hyaluronic acid collagen essence (an essence/serum, Australian brand) 4.) la prairie caviar eye essence 5.) Sisleya lip and eye contour cream.
Shipping is extremely slow even though it’s free, took 2 months from japan to Malaysia WITHOUT TRACKING! I strongly suggest all customers to upgrade the postage to one that comes with tracking just so you can have the peace of mind.
