Excellent mastering and pressing!
Impressive! Although the 1966 recording is in some instruments distorted (EKL-4407), the reproduction of this masterwork is awesome. The remaster from original analog tapes, plus the pressing, are second to none (not a fold out mono from the stereo recording).
The catalogue number of this issue I've recently purchased, is the same as the original.
Something that impressed me, is Jim Morrison's voice, lifefull, tonal balance and depth, they are very important elements to consider. The recording is neither more nor less than 57 years!
It has an amazing fresh sound!
