I met Vera-Ellen on the Edinburgh Castle Esplinade when she made this film. I have her autograph and a photo of her in her pink outfit(unfortunately in black and white since colour film was not available in 1955/6). I was ll/12 but she was charming. This film brought good memories back of holidays with my parents.
