Compulsive viewing.

A Comic Product.
This product is one of three I recently bought - a total of eleven discs in all. The first problem is that there are no instructions about loading the viewing software, which might appear unreasonably critical of me but bear in mind that likely only those of 'a certain generation' will be interested in children's comics from many decades ago, so technology buffs we probably are not. And anyway, I've a large collection of data discs of all sorts which operate, as they probably should, immediately after closing the disc tray. These absolutely do not! Then there's the problem that accessing that viewing software appeared impossible because one-after-the-other the discs refused to load at all. Finally, one did; hooray! And fortunately, on it, the special software appears but having installed each of those files - maybe 6 in total - only one single comic of the several hundred supposedly on that disc alone will reveal itself, and try as I did, attempts to format the pages to a convenient setting sent me on an M25 ringroad to nowhere. To be fair my laptop isn't any more cutting edge so perhaps I should use this as an opportunity to upgrade. I'm tempted to just send the discs back and get a refund but I'm confident that all of my childhood favourites are teasingly within my reach, and so will swallow the cost (and the hours spent) and see what the future brings. Either that or I shall have a go at the discs with a tin opener, ..... it might work.
