Microwave Oven High Voltage Fuse Tube 800mA 0.8A 5kV

Easy Fix for my Microwave
Our nice stainless stell DeLonghi combination microwave/oven/grill had given us around 10 years good service until it stopped heating with the microwave. The lights still came on and the turntable went around, but it didn't heat anything! A bit of research revealed that a common problem with microwaves in general is that the high voltage fuse inside ages and eventually fails, even when the appliance is fine. I opened the unit, locate the fuse, identified the ratings and found this cheap replacement on eBay which was cheap and arrived quickly. Once fitted everything worked again perfectly! NOTE: I am a qualified electronics engineer and used to servicing electronic equipment - I do not recommend unqualified people opening any such appliance! Anyhow, it was good to find this part so easily and it does the job perfectly.

Perfect Solution!
I fitted some new "hidden" locks to an outside utility cupboard some time ago as I'd had a problem with unauthorised access. However I later fitted some UPVC cladding onto the cubboard including door which increased the thickness and the original star type key would no longer reach the lock mechanism, so I ordered this extended version which is the perfect solution. It is a high quality product with excellent long reach at a good price. I am about to order a second one as a spare while they're available.
