Outlander Season 1 & 2
I watched the first Season of Outlander on More4 TV last year, so was keen to see Season 2. As I could not find details of it on TV here in England in the near future, I bought this box set.
I read the books very many years ago and was fascinated by them. I actually read up to and including the one entitled “A Breath of Snow and Ashes.”
I would recommend the DVDs to anyone who has enjoyed the books. They are a little gory in places, due to the brutal ways punishment was carried out in them, but the acting is superb, especially the two lead characters and the actor who took on two parts brilliantly and had to have a split personality, playing Claire’s husband in the 1940’s and his own ancestor in the 1700’s.
