Could be better

Cover feels like plastic to touch externally. Card holder is functional. Phone fits tightly into the holder. Led display works flawlessly. As for phone protection I would not be too convinced if dropped it would prevent damage due to the cover not locking together by any other means than gravity. Case continually opens it self even on flat surfaces which is a fundamental design issue from such a respected brand. At the price point there are many other safer options to choose from.
