The good old bad old days
For any snooker fan of a certain vintage, this book gives an insight into the gritty, dog eat dog, world of professional snooker in the 1980's. The highs and lows of being part of the snooker circus at that time are brilliantly described in this wonderful account of how snooker was in that era. For a trip down memory lane, look no further than this marvellous read!

Superb gritty drama
Happy Valley is a must watch for anybody who likes gritty drama with nothing sugar coated. This is a throw back to the days when the BBC was in a class of its own where high class drama was concerned. The actors are first rate and make their characters so believable . A really superb series indeed!
