Can be less expensive than specific fit options, but still very adaptable.
Have used these before with good results. However this time I am using them on the street(ADV) instead of off-road(moto/ATV). I like how you can easily vary the amount of airflow versus wind protection.
But even with the nice feature of the anti-spin spacer, and without the optional "Hand Wrap Attachment"/34253(that is now discontinued), it seems to be difficult to get it tight enough(without possibly ruining/breaking it), to prevent it from moving. I mean I got it to stay in place, and I know they do want it to spin instead of breaking off, but it does not take that much force to rotate the hand guard from your preferred adjustment. Like when just simply removing and replacing the snap-in options. Maybe an addition of star washers in the mounting kit might help? Otherwise with continued movement, I can foresee wearing the plastic down and needing to add washers for spacers.
Also worried about them discontinuing many items, like the already stated one above and the "Star Series Handguard Extensions"/34240. Even though I was able to find one somewhere else still in stock.

Good fit!
Great, initially it seemed too small but it ended up being a perfect fit. Application was easy and quick.

Heavy duty, but...
Grease fitting could not be tightened down all the way because the top piece of the ball joint started spinning instead. Otherwise it would have got 5-stars. I like and prefer buying American products like this, so it is nice to still be able to, as this is still beefier than others out there. I would purchase again.
