A2DP Bluetooth Receiver Wireless Music Streaming Adapter USB Wall Charger Plug

convenience and good sound

this device allows us to stream music from my phone, the wife's ipad or the son's tablet to the receiver and thence the HiFi via a lead (not provided) with a 3.5mm plug at one end and RCA connectors at the other. So much richer than that awful tinny sound (yes, even from the ipad). I can download podcasts and listen to them on the sofa - without headphones! I already had one which I use in the garage, this second one saves plugging and unplugging. Oh and you can charge your phone / tablet / ipad via the USB charging port via your own lead while it is streaming to this receiver - or not. Very convenient and your HiFi enables you to enjoy the content that much better.

It may suit a single disc but it doesn't suit a twin. Bought for my brother's Z750 we spent 4 hours trying to bleed it and get it working properly.

After that time we fitted a secondhand one which worked fine and gave a good action. I would not recommend this product.

replacing it is cheaper than buying a new Hudl

This is a USB port is a severe weakpoint for the Hudl; everyone I know has problems with the metal guide spreading, failing to retain the charging / interface lead and becoming so bad that it is not possible to charge the battery. I had gone to YouTube to find out how to replace the battery last year, so I knew how to replace this socket board, the battery has to come out to do this. The clip holding the ribbon cable was a bit fiddly but I got it in place eventually and the Hudl is working fine now. This product is a drop-in replacement, I disposed of the old one at my local recycling centre.
