Installation experience

Plastic slider on old unit had broken causing cable mash up in the mechanism, so repair kit seemed a good solution. Came with no instructions so took a bit of figuring out in terms of the cable threading etc. Recommend reference to utubes for door disassembly and motor resetting afterwards but found nothing on installing new cables. Would be good if kit mfu or retailer did vid on installation. Good final result and has been operating fine for a few weeks now. Suspect old mechanism failed due to increased strain on opening, application of silicone spray on runners might have keep it all operating smoothly with less strain on the motor and sliding gear.
