First impression of my Canon FS100
The first thing I noticed about my Canon FS100 was how small it was. It's teensy. It took me about 15 seconds to put in the battery and figure out how to take a video with it. The video resolution's OK. I wouldn't us it for wedding video that I'd like to keep forever. However, for everyday use it's just perfect. The still photos are ok. They're fairly low resolution with bit mapped colors. Good for an emergency like if you got in an accident but definitely not portrait quality.
Overall, this is a good Digital Camcorder that's really easy to use and small enough to carry around. I would recommend it for anyone on the go or on vacations.
