This is NOT a 5X magnifier!

This does not give 5x magnification - more like 3x or lower. 5x magnifiers with a handle like this one are scarce and expensive. The finish on this magnifier is poor (mould seams not even smoothed) but that should be expected from its low price. This would be a good magnifier to use in the office where there is a risk that colleagues will 'borrow' it and never return it..

Don't waste your money - get the genuine thing.

There are two major problems with this product: 1) there is a mold injection point at the rim and pressure there will tear the eyepiece (happened to me); 2) one installed on the camera the rubber does not flip back against the camera for storage, like the genuine Nikon eyepiece does. Don't waste your money - get the genuine thing.
