Great picture quality! ...horrendous build
2 of 2 found this helpful My LG UP970 plays my UHD blu ray movies with amazing picture quality, thanks mostly to it supporting Dolby Vision. And improves the look of regular Blu ray and DVDs. Easy to setup and use with simple interface. Only and biggest downside is cheap housing. The build is mainly plastic and can't handle the high disc speeds needed to read UHDs. This causes horrendous shaking and noise. Forcing me to put the player in a drawer to suppress the sound.
