Ferodo Front DS2500 Compound Brake Pad Set - FCP565H

Little to no fade

Used DS2500 pads for a few years now on various cars. On the track they’re awesome (paired with HC discs) as they show little/no fade and do not disintegrate or delaminate. A friend who runs these told me he managed to get brake fade after a session of constant hard braking, but I’ve never witnessed it myself. They don’t ‘bite’ when cold (during winter) so don’t expect the brake pedal force to reduce. If anything you have to push harder on the pedal when they’re cold, compared to other pads I’ve had. Returning customer, which is recommendation itself.

Red dye comes out of cloth

Genuine product (i checked against one from the biggest car product store that everyone knows...Hal....). Red dye comes out of the cloth. I have a white car and temporarily looked pink!!! Not happy at all with this product. The Kit requires 2 cloths but only comes with one. I guess this is so Autoglym can keep the price 'reasonable' as the cloths are £8 individually! (From Halfo....) The detailer wax is actually excellent and gave the car an amazing shine finish and so is the clay bar. Takes a long time to clay a whole car as you'd expect, and a larger size clay would have helped to avoid using contaminated clay. So: Clay = excellent Wax = excellent Cloth = POOR Kit = Poor Advice: buy the wax and clay individually, or choose a different brand!
