New collars don’t work as well as the old.
I ordered the collar to add to a system that I’ve already had for 6 years. The old collar and system has been working beautifully ever since we put it in. The new collar beeped randomly in the yard even when the dog was nowhere near the boundary and in the house which was 40 feet away from the wire sending my dog into a corner terrified. The collar was replaced by a second which didn’t beep at the back of the property meaning my dog would have an escape route. The company is sending me a third collar to try but this is frustrating. My original works great. It has to be these newer ones that just aren’t like the old ones. I would investigate a different company if you are interested in an underground fence.
