1 of 1 found this helpful Does what it says in the box. My hair was very tangled and desperately needed a trim before, now it is very smooth. I have very tightly curly hair so I had to flat iron it first to use the Split Ender. I did my whole head and it took off about a golfball-sized clump of trimmings. The only down side to this version of the Split Ender is that it only has the 1/4 inch trim setting and does not have the 1/8 inch option like the old version did.
