A great selection of songs, a magnificent performer and, of course, that voice! Say no more.
Many greatest hits collections feel like what they are, just a group of an artists best selling tracks assembled together on a single album. As a result the collection can come across as just what it is - a number of tracks which don't "feel" like they necessarilly belong together as an organic collection. Not this album. The individual tracks sit so well together you'd think they'd all been recorded at the same sessions. The sequencing just feels "organic". Then you get to Ms. Streisand herself. This selection comes from a period when she was beginning to move away from the stage musicalof her career and was beginning to embrace the MOR pop idiom. And this album proves she was more than capable of doing so. So, a great selection of songs, a magnificent performer and, of course, that voice! I've loved this album since I first bought on vinyl on it's initial release and I'm delighted to now have it on CD.

A brilliant read for true fans of the literary James Bond
In my opinion Ramond Benson is (alongside with Anthony Horowitz) one of the two best James Bond continuation novelists. His complete understanding and knowledge of; plus love for the character of Bond shines through on every single page. The fact that this omnibus edition of three of his Bond novels includes two of his short stories - not readilly availanle elsewhere - was the great selling point for me (I must confess that I already have hardback editions of each of his 007 books). To anyone who is a fan of the literary James Bond, and who doesn't own any of Benson's contributions to the canon, I cannot recommend this volume highly enough as an introduction to his work.
