Someone come up with a cheaper reliable alternative please
Works in the high temperature environment of a domestic oven. Shame is that they only seem to last for a few months so that makes it a pretty expensive item. Packaging was crushed on arrival but the bulb survived

Time will tell
Time will tell you. The tap is only three years old and needed valve replacement as it leaked. Research on-line indicated this to be a common failing. Pretty poor for a £120 tap. This replacement a wee bit less refined in manufacture but much cheaper than Franke supplied part. It fits though and stopped the leak.
