The magazine arrived on time and as described. I was surprised that no backing board or other kind of support was used in addition to the bubble-wrap envelope, but the magazine appeared to arrive without any harm, so no foul there. I would certainly consider purchasing again from this seller.

Thanks for the feedback. I always ship my magazines the same way unless someone asks for the cardboard. No one has ever reported to me a magazine being damaged when shipped in a bubble-wrap envelope.

DVD: The Stone Killer (1973): Charles Bronson, Martin Balsam - WIDESCREEN

Underrated Bronson action pic
One of Bronson's best cop thrillers with many memorable action scenes, terrific supporting cast, and some great dialogue. Plot can be confusing at times, but director Michael Winner keeps things moving at a good clip. Essential viewing for fans of the star.

Wrong Turn indeed
Competently made but derivative junk that adds nothing to the genre. Fine makeup effects by Stan Winston are wasted in what essentially amounts to a "dead teenager" movie. If you haven't seen a horror movie in your entire life, it might offer some thrills. Totally unnecessary waste of 90 minutes--see something like the original "Hills Have Eyes" instead.

Black Dahlia...NOT!
Director Ulli Lommel hasn't had much success since The Boogeyman, and this direct-to-video feature isn't likely to garner any new fans. Not to be confused with Brian De Palma's Black Dahlia released the same year, this one is mainly focused on torture, sadism, and buckets of gore. A train wreck of a movie, with amateurish acting and poor direction, it's of interest mainly to Lommel completists. Also, the DVD is UNRATED, not Rated R.
