Panasonic LX7
2 of 2 found this helpful This is a great camera. I have tested it out with portrait shots as well as some shots inside the local church. Both came out great. Predictably good on auto but fantastic when you learn how to use the camera properly.
This is the best compact camera I have ever had and getting some shots comparable to my D SLR which I never really used as it just got left at home, being too big to lug around all the time. Now I have a camera which produces high quality results and sits in my laptop bag. That makes it the best camera in the world as it is the one I have with me!
I did make another purchase which was a book dedicated to this camera called; Photographers Guide to the Panasonic LX7 by Alexander S White. It goes into great detail about every possible function of the camera and explains the location and operation of all the camera settings. This book made getting to know my camera easier as the so called manual for this camera is pathetic.
If you are looking for a compact camera with full manual control and a VERY bright lens then buy this or pay a LOT more.
