Fantastic purchase...
2 of 2 found this helpful Read the description, then read it again... Not the easiest build but 2 guys in the rain having a laugh and nit rushing did this in 8 hours easily. Well worth the trouble!!!

Great lens,...
A stunning little lens to give a vintage take on things. I use mine on a canon 5dmkii so fully manual. Not as sharp as today's lenses but at this price point there's no modern equivalent to match it to.
The only caveat is refurbished... Mine would only focus to about 4 MTRS, bit of tinkering and it's back as it should be.
Worth a punt, not heavy but a manual focus on 135 would suggest a tripod and static subjects.

Truck use
I have an earlier version of this in my truck. I find it perfectly adequate, and extremely stable. We are in and out of farm land and quarries constantly and I've never had a spillage. I'm buying another for when we go camping as this is now a permanent fixture in the truck. I doubt you would be disappointed in this, I know I'm far from that
