I wanted a quality VGA to HDMI adaptor that would support different levels of resolution. I identified this as a good device costing £60+ new. Fortunately I found this supplier selling these for under £20. They allow my Dell Latitude D830 from c. 2009 with its WUXGA (1920x1200) display and Intel integrated graphics to support 1680x1050 when mirroring the internal display and up to the full 1920x1200 on both internal and external monitors when extending the desktop or using external only.

Few products have impressed me more!

I have used this product many times as a DIY-er and hobbyist over several years to get inoperative and/or electrically noisy switches and potentiometers to work or reduce crackling. So far I have found it effective in very case. It is easy to use and long lasting. If possible make sure you apply it just to the component that needs treating, preferably through a small opening. It may take a few hours for the full effect to be gained but the benefits of one application can last for months or years. I have used it on contacts in radios and tape recorders, plugs and sockets and numerous automotive applications. A windscreen-wiper with a failed self-parking contact which I treated in 2005 is still working 200,000 miles later in 2019!

Works well for me once set up...

Bought as a replacement charger for a 2013 Samsung Nexus 10 tablet which originally came with a 2 amp supply. This seems to effectively charge the tablet whilst it is being used, which is something my 1 amp mobile phone charger couldn't manage. My only reservation, as mentioned by other reviewers, is that it took me a couple of attempts to properly seat the plastic peg beside the earth pin of the UK plug into the corresponding hole in the charger body but now it's fine. Have only had the item a couple of weeks so can't testify to it's longevity but it's had quite a lot of use already and is fine so far.
