Iffy quality - invest in a proper roof rail
Having read previous reviews (a mixture of good and indifferent) I was quietly optimistic - after all how difficult is to sew 3 magnets the right way round into a covering. . Well plainly quite difficult as 1 of the 3 is the wrong way round so 2 magnets pick up whilst the other limply hangs on then drops off ishould an overweight fly land on it. Unpick the stitching and then remove and reinsert the errant magnet and all seems well.Yet to be tested in with an awning the field but magnets appear to attach well so far.
Forgot to amend the stars - sorry but one star as it did arrive on time.
Update - Meant to add that I attempted to use this down in Devon last year. The magnets did attach to the side of the van for at least 20 seconds until a fairy light breeze caused one of the magnets to come away and he weight of that unmagnetised magnet caused the remaining two magnets to work loose. Tried it again a couple more times - same result. The magnets in my connector just weren't strong enough for the task so can't endorse this positively at all. The magnets simply aren't strong enough
That said, I now have an abundance of fridge magnet strips and can post lots of notes to myself in the kitchen!!
