Gunson G4 125 Digital gas (CO) tester
I had just failed my MOT, due to the CO emission from the exhaust being twice what was considered acceptable.
It's a 35 year old car, and clearly it was running too rich, although ticking over quite nicely, so I figured I'd try tinkering with the mixture screw on the carb while watching how the CO reading changed on the gas tester. The instructions are good, and the gas tester does work - when I went back to retest the CO emission it was spot on.
It seems quite expensive, and it's a delicate piece of equipment that has to be used carefully, but it does mean that you can check the CO yourself - it connects to the car battery, and passers-by will find it interesting!

Cobra car cover
It's a good, but tight, fit. I measured my car and was expecting a little more slack, but if it stands up to the Andalucian summer for a few months, then I won't be complaining. It's very fine material, but once again, if it doesn't rip up too soon I'll have no complaint. I could have done without the wing mirror pockets as they aren't anywhere near the wing mirrors on my car, and just look funny, but they could be perfect for another car.
