Great price for adequate gear
I got this combo primarily for the cheap price on the Scarlett Solo (I only need one mic input and Focusrite is industry standard for a reason), and expected the Rockville RCM03 condenser to perform better than the $5 dynamics some bundles give you. It certainly does, but it's not without its faults.
With this pairing of pre-amp and mic. the gain has to be cranked and you need to vocalize quite loud for the mic to pick up, causing a bit of clipping. The condenser doesn't seem to get quite the rounded tone I expected, but I am still learning the ropes of the DAW to more effectively clean it up. However, for the price it's a fantastic bundle.
