You get what you pay for
Great quality while a little pricey, though expecting them to last longer than cheaper alternatives.

Great performance with a couple of compromises
2 of 2 found this helpful The 4790K still holds its own against the newer Skylake CPUs with higher base clocks and can be found for a decent price. However, keep in mind that you will be limited to DDR3 even if there isn't currently noticeable difference to DDR4, and that the choice of motherboards, especially in the mini ITX form factor, is getting rather limited as most of the boards are going out of market.
