AFFORDABLE AND EFFECTIVE AERIAL
5 of 6 found this helpful Installed in loft, pointed roughly in direction of nearest transmitter, getting 72% signal for most channels on 5 TV points around the house. Unfortunately my house builder forgot to connect up points 6 and 7 but am sure signal will be just as good when they come fix it after lockdown is lifted. I do have a few installation tips...
1. Ignore the instructions - just follow the pictures for a guide on assembly, it really makes no difference.
2. When installing the thin metal fins they require some force - don't be afraid to bend them. They easily bend back.
3. If installing in a loft don't use the 4 bolt sleeves. Just use the bolts nuts and washers. Better still get some hex heads. Drill holes just big enough for the bolts through the beam you are installing to, using the bracket as a template.
