Orient Ray 2 Orange Dial
1 of 1 found this helpful The Orient Ray 2 with orange dial is a fantastic watch. It is the same size as the original Orient Mako, however it has a greatly improved bezel. The bezel is still slightly stiff, however, it is much easier to turn than on the Mako 1. The lume is also greatly improved. It is not quite as bright as Citizen or Seiko, but it is very close and by far better than most other dive watches I've owned. The orange is a very nice shade; it is neither too yellow nor too red. The timekeeping decent, but it is not as good as my original Mako which was about -5 to -10 seconds per day. This Ray 2 has been consistently at -20 seconds per day. All in all, the Ray 2 is a great value.

Citizen Aqualand = Great Watch
The Citizen Aqualand JP1060 with full lume dial is an excellent watch. It is sized perfectly: neither small nor too big. It keeps great time and the analog and digital functions are always in synch. The lume dial looks awesome and glows brightly all night long. The Aqualand depth meter and dive timer also functions flawlessly.
The ratcheting bezel rotates easily with 60 satisfying clicks.
The watch is a great value.

Russian Dive Watch
I received my Vostok Amphibia one week ago. I ordered it from Russia on January 20 and it arrived in the Midwest USA on March 23.
The watch is good looking with a black face dial and chrome hour markers. The lumed hands and hour indices provide a dim but adequate amount of illumination throughout the night.
The bezel has markings but no lume pip. The bezel is also friction based rather than ratcheting.
This watch features a domed plexiglass crystal. It scratches easily bit is not as likely to shatter as mineral crystal.
As far as time keeping is concerned, the watch runs between 90 and 120 seconds fast each day. I have heard that this is common and that if you let the watch run completely down it will level out some but I have not tried this yet.
Most buyers know what they are looking at when they look at a Vostok Amphibia and will be well pleased with what they receive.
