A good hub, I hope...
I specifically wanted a very reliable hub with a steel cassette body, and even though I was told that it was steel, it was aluminum! Would I have bought it knowing that? Probably not. However, other aspects of its design are good: I like the high(ish) flanges that will allow me to lace the wheel four-cross, I like the adaptable axle length, I like the four large-diameter drive pawls that should last longer than the hopelessly-unreliable Shimano freehub bodies with their three tiny small-diameter pawls, I like the easily-removable cassette body to facilitate easy spoke replacement during rides, and I like the sensible-looking seals to prevent most contaminants from reaching the bearings. The aluminum axle initially caused me concern, but a 2.5mm thick and 17mm OD (on the drive side) unthreaded tube should have acceptable stiffness and fatigue resistance, even with it thinning to 15mm OD on the non-drive side. We'll see how well it holds up in real-world conditions on my expedition/offroad touring bike that has to take a significant carried load over rough surfaces for extended time, but with zero probability of failures that could potentially be life-threatening depending on where I am riding (a major mechanical breakdown when I'm many miles from the nearest paved road in the Mojave Desert is much more than a mere inconvenience). As with so many bike parts, or with life in general, one has to decide what level of compromise is acceptable: finding the exact perfect hub, or anything else, is an unrealistic goal, so finding something that's reasonably good for an attractive price may be the best we can hope for. Wish me luck!

VW key for a Crown bus.
This is the third one of these VW keys that I've bought for my Crown school bus's underfloor doors. Original Crown keys are now unobtainable, but these VW keys work just fine after the tapered end is shortened by 1/2". They are good quality and a very reasonable price.

Kohler Transition drinking water faucet.
This drinking water faucet matches my Kohler Avi kitchen sink faucet perfectly, and it seems to be very high quality. It installed easily on a stainless sink. If an external RO is not being used for it, the red and black hoses are not needed; only the 3/8" supply hose (with a compression fitting) is then needed. Most of these faucets sell for much more than from this eBay vendor, making this a very good deal.
