I am a Graduate Gemologist & award-winning jewelry designer that retired in 2020 after a 40-year career as a jewelry store co-owner with my wife in the Midwest. In my career I was a diamond importer, appraiser, estate jeweler, & colored gemstone specialist. I also served on the board of directors of the preeminent North American retail jewelers organization, representing an area of several midwestern states & all of Canada.

Our eBay listings are for liquidating merchandise left after our store's Going Out of Business Sale. We start listings at about what the last sale price was, then lower them $5 every month until we can't lower them any more because we are at a scrap metal and/or salvage price after figuring eBay fees & postage. We include a Certificate of Appraisal at the regular selling price for any item originally selling at $500 or more.

The title of the CD says it all.

Outstanding Little Uke!
This is a great little ukulele; high gloss finish and beautiful abalone inlay rosette! It is tiny, but still playable, and I am a six foot tall guy who can ALMOST palm a basketball. It sounds amazing for a tiny instrument, BUT I have one caveat. With the strings it came with, it had intonation problems as you went down the fingerboard. After consulting some knowledgeable folks, I tried fluorocarbon strings. I went with GHS, but there are lots of options out there. After installing the fluorocarbon GHS strings, the intonation problems went away entirely. I purchased the matching hard shell case, and it is now my go-to travel instrument. I absolutely LOVE it!

Compact Stereo Unit
Pros: Inexpensive. Very compact and versatile with AM/FM tuner, CD player, cassette player, and auxiliary input. Nice output system to connect to good quality speakers. FM reception is OK. Sound is fine except turntable. Cons: Turntable is tinny sounding. There are no bass/treble controls; only bass boost. Volume control is a goofy push button system. Wimpy FM antenna with no way to easily upgrade.
