Definitely not the best but most definitely not the worst!
3 of 4 found this helpful These filters are not the best, they are also not the worst. I do wonder if they work to any degree though.
I say they're not the worst because they don't add that awful black tinge to the water for 5+ initial rinse throughs.
They are not the best because they still seem to leave quite a considerable film on hot drinks (used in a kettle), so I'm not sure if they're doing anything at all filtration wise. I do also use them in a jug but use that only for filling a machine so again, no real idea of whether or not they're improving the quality of water - taste wise, etc.
All in all I don't see why there can't be a genuinely quality alternative product with a more affordable price tag than the manufacturer. I will continue my quest to find some but, unfortunately, I won't try these again.
