Too powerful
1 of 1 found this helpful This thing puts out insane amperage so beware. The center core is NEGATIVE the outer spikes and shell is POSITIVE. It is not suitable for hand crank generators or shake torches, the goal of those is to get from 0 to 2.7V relatively quickly, Well with this beast it will take a very long time, it has an insane capacity and would be appropriate for other applications or if you use a very efficient joule thief circuit.

Dell Inspiron 6000 works.
Great just wish I did it 10 years ago. Very easy to switch out. Took me 5 minutes.
