The answer to ethanol-laced petrol
When I tried starting my old Howard, after a couple of years of it standing in the shed, I found the float chamber filled with yellow jelly - the dreaded ethanol-laced petrol had worked its malign magic on susceptible components in the old Kohler carburettor! Attempts to cur ethe problem using materials in the workshop simply didn't work - the ethanol just corroded or dissolved whatever I tried. I could have put a modern carburettor on it, but that would have needed a hand-operated throttle, so I ordered this kit last resort. And it worked immediately - second pull of the starter cord and the old beast rumbled into life again. So quite simply, it does exactly what it claims to do - renovates the old Kohler carb, and brings the engine back to life. Highly recommended - especially as there are some cheapo immitations out there that may or may not be up to the job.

A boon to stroke victims?
After a colleague suffered a stroke, she found it impossible to get back to using her standard computer keyboard. The figures and symbols were just too small and obscure for her to find, and they were all in upper case anyway, which is not what she wanted to see on the screen. So I ordered one of these 'kids' keyboards' for her.
And within a week she was up and running again. The CapsLock key baffled her for a while, but she soon recalled its purpose, and she quickly learned how to compose first words, then short sentences, and then whole paragraphs.
So I used this as the stepping-stone to her eventual return to a conventional keyboard, once she has relearned her old keyboard skills. But don't immagine this is a universal 'cure' for all stroke victims, it's NOT. But if it helps even just a few to relearn their old skills and communicate better, then it'll have served its purpose admirably. For twenty quid, what have you got to loose? Brilliant product - it worked for us!
