Holds air. Feels nice. I don't know if I like the built in pillow all that much but it is easy to lay at the other end to avoid it.

Very good lock for a bicycle.
Nice lock that seems to me made well. This lock is the smaller 50mm version of the CD8820, not to be confused with the 60mm version of the same name that is in several Youtube reviews. This lock seems to me a good size and weight for a bicycle lock when paired with a 3/8"(~10mm) security chain. The core is a 6 pin Schlage and can be replaced with a higher security one if needed. The lock shackle is exactly 3/8" in diameter, hardened and there is a 0.75" wide by 1" tall space inside the loop when closed.
Altogether I am happy with this lock but take that with a grain of salt because I have not had a chance to give it a long term use review.
