Pontos 1/350 USS North Carolina BB55 Blue Tone Wood Deck 35024 for Trumpeter

1/350 Pontos North Carolina Bkue Teak Deck

If your shooting for that WWII look, these blue decks are MUST HAVES. Much easier than trying to stain the natural ones, they taking weathering very well. The fit is perfect and it has great adhesion IF you do your deck penetrations/fitting and let the paint cure fully prior to install. I usually let the kit sit 2 weeks min before installing. My models don't have an interior A/C spot yet so they live in the garage and are transported to events where there is A/C. So far, still no buckling, warping or lifting. If they are available for any of my upcoming builds, they will be on them even if I have to wait for them to restock. Would love to see them available for all the big 1/350 and 1/700 ships, especially the ComBrig line.

I haven't used the set yet so I can't comment on fit but from looking it over and past experience with this companies other products I don't anticipate any issues and I'll end up with a Great Looking South Dakota
