The Dark One...

Normal Toblerone is one thing, but while white Toblerone and Fruit & Nut are widely available in shops, for some weird reason, The Dark One is not piled high in stores, so ended up ordering online! It was a gift, so no idea how good it is, as the giftee has not opened and shared the bar, but I am sure it will be seriously edible...

Tiny piece of plastic...

The original brackets cracked and fell apart, leaving the control panel loose and flappy! No alternative to buying replacement from Vaillant of course, so the price was outrageous. The new support bracket are fine, but really should not have failed in the first place; so much for the much-vaunted quality and reliability of Vaillant products...?

Aluminum Alloy 35kg Automatic Hydraulic Door Closer with Parallel Bracket E4I2

Failed after only a few weeks...

Looks a nicely made door closer, a bit smaller than the Briton 1003 it replaced, and the Briton cover fitted perfectly! Unfortunately, both units failed one after another, after only a few weeks use. The oil inside leaked out of the spindle, meaning the unit no longer damps the opening and closing action, but the spring still slams the door shut.
