Good quality, cable a bit short
Excellent hub with unusual switching and indicator light for each port. I placed it on my desk. Cable (60cm) was too short to reach my PC under my desk so I bought a longer cable. Otherwise, perfect.

ACER D250 NETBOOK
I've been looking at netbooks for quite a while now. My daughter has a Samsung netbook and I've used it a few times. A netbook is small and light and so it was on my mental list of things I'm interested in (boyz toyz). Then an ebay Daily Deal came along and this was available for about £179 with free P&P. Very interesting indeed. Talked it over with her who must etc. and decided to go for it. You don't get a second chance to have a first chance!
It was delivered very quickly and I wasted no time unpacking it. I was very pleased with the way it looked. Subtle shiny blue. Starting up was no problem and it picked up my wireless network automatically and all I needed to do was type in my encryption key. I was soon downloading free AVG antivirus and Zonealarm firewall and a few Office-type programs. Takes not too long to charge though I haven't yet tested how long a single charge will last. I expect only a few hours.
One thing I have bypassed is the touch pad. It works OK but I have never been happy with touchpads and I soon connected a mouse. Started with a wired USB one but then found an excellent wireless mouse on ebay - about £5 from Hong Kong. Took about 10 days to arrive but I'm glad I got it. The wireless receiver is tiny and sticks out less than 1 cm from a netbook USB socket. The mouse is blue and almost a perfect match with the netbook colour. It works really well.
It's early days yet but this netbook seems to do everything I wanted. Everytime I look at it I smile. Why? Because it looks beautiful! Never thought I'd say that about a computer. If you're after a netbook, this is a good one for the price.

WORKS PERFECTLY
Exactly what I needed. I've repaired many remote controls in the past by cleaning the contacts but those repairs were short-lived. Eventually the conducting film on the rubber membrane wears out. This kit is designed to remedy that. Works perfectly, but take your time and follow the instructions. Clean the contacts and especially make sure the solution is well mixed so that it is quite fluid. Deposit a globule on each faulty button contact then leave it all to dry for 24 hours. You'll have a remote control as good as new. Highly recommended.
