I was introduced to the EEL as a beginner Kiteboarder in a St.Maarten instructional course. This tool allows the board to be safely retrieved when experiencing the numerous falls/ kite crashes. Without it you’ll spend your whole day retrieving your board. As an amateur it is as vital as the board itself.
