Gripping novel
This is one of the best contemporary war novels written.

Classic for a reason
This is a terrific read. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the length; some people aren't a fan of 500+ pages.

You only THINK you know what this book is about.
1 of 1 found this helpful While there is quite a bit of 'wrestling' in the book, I feel like it is more about never letting go of a dream and doing whatever it takes to make that dream happen. There is also some of the "be careful what you wish for; you just might get it" insight from someone who knows what that means.
