Lightweight and convenient!
Our family of five took this to the beach, and really enjoyed using it. It is super light to carry with a handy carrying case. The canopy has plenty of built-in sand bags that keep it well-grounded without having to use tent stakes, even in high wind. It provides shade for two comfortably, and three if you don't mind squeezing a bit. The only drawback is that it opens up using a mechanism similar to opening an umbrella, and it takes a bit of muscle to do so. I am a petite woman, and had to use most of my strength to get the mechanism to lock in place. For that reason, I usually rely on my husband to set it up. But, set-up is very simple, as is take-down and stowing in the carrying bag.
