DID THE JOB

Mechanic suggested I replace old ignition pack and leads with one from a scrapped Focus. They put the 'new' one in but it seemed to be worse than the original! Rather than go down the same route again I thought I'd by new leads (nice and easy to fit myself) and if they didn't work a new coil pack (a bit trickier to fit). Bought these leads, slapped them in and Hey Presto. The engine's not making a funny noise anymore! Wonderful.

WORKED NO PROBLEM

One's never sure about these sort of things but this worked perfectly with my Samsung tv. The added bonus was that not long after purchasing I found the original. At least I have a reliable spare now.
